Location
The Kukulida e.V. is a cultural centre of the district of Neustadt and our host for the 4rd international Kino Gieno Kabaret. The location is close to the city center as well as to the riverbanks and a park.
Arrival
You can get off the train both at Hauptbahnhof or Bahnhof Neustadt. If you get off at Hauptbahnhof, take tram no. 3 to Albertplatz. If you get off at Bahnhof Neustadt take tram no. 11 or 6 to Bautznerstraße/Rothenburgerstraße. You can check in from 2 p.m. on.
Registration and travel costs
Please pay registration fee (20,-€) at arrival in cash. The fee is to be understood as a flat charge including breakfest for 3 days, and all operating costs.
Accomodation
We try providing accommodations for low-cost or even for free (they are limited). Please register early, and tell us if you need a place to sleep. Please bring a sleeping bag.
Code of conduct and advice
- Please always be careful and respectful with all equipment, especially borrowed stuff. Mark your own equipment with your name to avoid loss or mix up.
- Please keep the area clean and safe.
- Please respect, that the daily working process of Kukulida staff shall not be disturbed. We are guests there.
- Please do not enter rooms and areas, where access is forbidden.
- Please ask, when you have any doubts or questions about the place. The Kino Gieno team will always help you.
- Please do not smoke in the kino lab, we provide a separate room for smoking.
- You are responsible for any kind of permission you may need for shooting.
- Please do not forget the credits in your films, all necessary cooperation partners and logos will be provided by Kino Gieno.
- Please use only music, which is free of intellectual property or GEMA rights. We cannot show your films to the public, when property rights are hurt, free music can be found at www.incompetech.com
- All films has to be finished and handed in to the staff until Saturday, 6 p.m., otherwise we will not display them on the screening.
- Kino Gieno cannot take responsibility for anybody’s equipment, so please make sure you have your own insurance.
Films produced during the 4rd International Kino Gieno Kabaret may be screened, compiled on DVD, uploaded on the web and distributed by Kino Gieno– otherwise, films and all accompanied rights remain property of the producer/filmmaker.
